BackupMenu is a bootloader-based OS image backup tool. It can backup images from the N900's OS and programs to the SD card or eMMC (MyDocs).
BackupMenu uses RootFS images that are compatible with Nokia's Flasher utility for easy restoration from a non-operating (i.e. bricked) state.
To access BackupMenu, simply reboot the N900 with the keyboard open. Booting the device with keyboard closed will skip showing the menu.

I like it very much. I had bricked my phone 3 times due to installing junk and had to reflash and redo all the settings not covered by the default backup utility. With this one i can freely mess with my phone and can restore to original state in a jiffy. [Rate: 9/10] |
